Bank Management

NHS Improvement’s ongoing guidance, including Monitor’s diagnostic tool kit, is placing a great deal of focus on Trust’s efforts to make more use of their substantive staff for additional shifts, and increasing or, in many cases, building their own internal Bank to call upon.

Holt Workforce Management provides Trusts with two options:
  • Utilise LMS, our market leading IT recruitment platform, and run your own substantive/bank workforce.
  • Let Holt Workforce Management run your substantive/bank workforce – building and increasing the external bank for you.
While many Trusts are aware of the benefits of operating an internal Bank, it tends to be a manual process with names kept on various spreadsheets, potentially held by individual departments – this often results in vacancies just being sent straight out to agencies (with the alternative “bank” being just too time consuming for busy members of staff).  Additionally, responding to out of hours’ requirements can be even more frustrating – with no information centrally held/accessible, staff are even more likely to resort to sending vacancies to agencies.

The solution is to utilise an IT platform to centralise and automate the process for you.

Our bank solution for clients has continued to evolve in line with client needs and we have now successfully implemented solutions at:
